There is something about living on the waterfront. Going to sleep each night and hearing that lulling sound of water hitting the shore. Then there is that tantalizing scent of water, be it seaside or a lake, it is quite refreshing to wake up to each day.

In Brasil there is just such a house. São Paulo's architects at Ambienta Arquitetura had a wonderful idea. They built a beautiful one-storey waterfront home which looks amazing and is a dream come true. A home which is made of wood and stone and situated in a very envious location. Behind the house is luscious green landscape and in front a lovely beach. What more could you wish for?

Seaview

We see here that not only the house enjoys perfect green landscape, the view of the sea in front of the house is something to take our breath away.

A minimal home in harmony with mother nature is another interesting article on Homify that writes about how a house can compliment a natural landscape.

A place made for sunshine

At even the very first glimpse the house is truly a dream home. It is inviting you to come closer with its warmth coming from clever combination of using wood and beige stone. The structure itself is simple but with a very lavish comfortable feel.

Spectacular view

The house has a perfect green lawn and the spacious terrace where you can sit and enjoy the pleasant hours of the morning. There is a mixture of styles to be seen here. From quite contemporary to rustical and it is wood and the stone that play the main part of making this home stand out.

House to fall in love with

The sunny prospect this house offers, the white curtains swaying in the light breeze and the sun umbrella in the background, this is more than just a house, this is a vacation villa even if you always reside there. The natural landscape is in deep contrast to the straight and rational lines of the structure and the combination of using steel, wood and glass makes it hard to distinguish as to what design the house adheres to.

A view of paradise

This view is spectacular and suffice enough to love the house before even seeing it. The terrace is amazing, the timber floorboards that shine in the sunshine, one can be promised many lazy hours on this lovely porch. Everything we see is in harmony, from natural prospect to the man-made attempt to create comfort and ease.

Living room

The living-room area seems very comfortable and relaxing. It is a very cozy and nicely detailed room. It is not difficult to imagine spending wonderful summer days here. The sunlight spreads throughout the patio toward the living room and the view of the nature is all around. The colors are beautifully matched, the clean whiteness of the sofa, the brown window frames and beige carpet floor. The rest of the details like the pillows, the lamps and the exotic wood furniture give a natural feel to the area.

Open floor

The lounge area which we just mentioned extends in fact to the open area of the kitchen and the dining room while at the front is the porch. We have three different seating areas all in the near vicinity from each other. The kitchen is tastefully done in wood furniture and the tone of the entire open area which prevails are white and browns matching to perfection.

Spacious and light

From the kitchen angle we see the living-area and the interesting wooden ceiling which gives the room something exotic especially the two fans above which indicate it can get very warm here. One of the most obvious characteristics of this room is the integration of nature in the interior space. The large windows overlook the front porch and provide constant light. This is a harmonious house which invites peaceful thoughts and general sense of well-being.
