Here is an small residential project we completed just in time for the holidays. A redesign of the living spaces in an existing 60's house (b&w images of before). A new open plan living area with enlarged openings to a new outside terrace and water wise garden. Furthermore, we 'future proofed' the house by installing double glazing & new ceiling insulation, solar water heating, rain water collection with a filtration system that feeds it into the mains supply of the house, which runs purely on rain water (while its available) and automatically reverts to mains water when the rainwater runs out. The small patch of drought resistant lawn is watered by a grey water system. This automatically irrigates the lawn with excess waste/grey water, that isn't used to flush the wc's. Hope you like it!
