Accommodating healthy lifestyle activities of the couple who came from different nationality, this house not only offers aesthetic beauty and microclimate conditioning by covering almost its building façade with greenery, but it also has the added value of using plants that can be consumed by its owners and users. The wife, came from Australia, is a food blogger and photographer while her husband is a Balinese who loves surf and cook organic meal harvested from their own garden.

They implement eco and green lifestyle by cultivating decorative plant as well as edible ones that can be consumed, applying urban farming concept towards food security. Gardening areas for this couple not only lie on ground level, but are also allocated across the rooftop area on the container mass, rear building mass, and in some spots that are arranged vertically either by using verticulture system or vertical garden.    Split level for floor and garden is used to get more space, the result is carport in the semi-basement level and veranda above it that functions as a social space for the owner who often invite their friends to have some meals or photography hunt together.
