As a result of cutting and filling to create an elevated road bed on our property, we created some serious erosion issues. By chance, I found Texas Erosion Control and ended up purchasing $1,000 worth of their CS3- 8' x 112', 30% coconut/70% straw mat and 9" x 25' straw waddle. After regrading and installing the material, I've had numerous heavy rains and experienced very little erosion. This stuff really works! It's well worth the cost and labor it takes to install it. And if you're in the DFW area, you can avoid shipping costs by picking it up locally.
