The home to be designed is located in Benimaclet, a neighbourhood famous in Valencia for its young residents. The renovation consisted mainly in reorganising the day areas: entrance, living-dining room, kitchen and bathroom.
The home was in its original conditions and organised with a conventional family layout with a generous yet dark entrance connecting to a long interior corridor leading to the remaining rooms. From the outset we understood that the project consisted of breaking that relationship between the entrance and the long corridor, reorganising the public areas of the home.
This enabled us to let more natural light in from the entrance, restructuring the kitchen, bathroom and living room so as to achieve more spacious, flowing spaces and reducing the corridor considerably.
